Simply put...

As an artist, my work is a reflection of the places and people that inspire me.  It is my goal that through the image making process, I am able to interact with what or who is in front of me on a more personal level.  I want to make imagery worth interpreting, analyzing, and simply enjoying.  

As an educator, I try to engage in a variety of art making processes so as to be able to share the experiences with my students.  Being a high school educator means making art as a means of demonstrating and inspiring the creative spark in your students.  

As a mother and wife, my family is my muse.
